Lead Maintenance Fitter

he Role
You will be required to attend breakdowns
on a broad range of PLC controlled process and packaging machinery. This
site produces 24/7 and the emphasis is on troubleshooting to keep production
running. This role requires someone with strong electrical fault finding skills and
an appreciation of PLC’s (fault finding, interrogation and modifications).

The Candidate
Candidates for this position must have a strong electrical engineering skill set
supported by the relevant qualifications, such as NVQ3, City & Guilds part 3,
ONC, HNC or HND. To be successful in the role you will need a good  understanding of fitting and preventative maintenance. You will also be an
enthusiastic engineer, work well under pressure, be a good team player and
have a ’can do’ attitude. Previous experience within the  FMCG/ bakery  sector is
essential. This role offers a basic salary of £30-35k. All overtime is paid.
